January Clearance Sale
January each year
Our biggest sale, making room for new and exciting things for the upcoming year.
Valentine's Day
February 14 each year
Online, or in the store, order your Valentine flowers as early as possible to ensure on-time delivery and the best selection. Make any order special by adding chocolates, balloons or a gift.
Spring Breeze Open House
Mid-March each year
Sample specialty food items, shop our newest spring gift and décor items, and enjoy “fresh as spring” flowers. Our Open House events sometimes include live music, wine-tastings, and artist visits.
Easter
April each year (the next one in March will be in the year 2160)
This is one of the biggest floral delivery days of the year, so order your mother’s Easter corsage and your Easter centerpiece early. Our designers can create a special arrangement or centerpiece for your table using your favorite vase from home with flowers and colors of your choice.
Mother's Day
May each year
"Not everyone has a lover, but everyone has a Mother!" Yes – Mother’s Day is a busier flower holiday than Valentine’s Day. This is the single largest delivery day for florists world wide. Getting your order in early is a must if you want it delivered on that specific day. We here at Village Blossoms & Gifts call on relatives, husbands and employees to work overtime to assure delivery on all orders placed at least 48 hours in advance.
Celebrate Summer Open House
Mid-June each year
This is a great time every year. The weather has finally changed and we can have our bistro table out, food samples and a sidewalk sale for you to browse outside. Our inventory has been increased for your outdoor activities with things like gardening gloves, yard art, bird baths and ornate garden stakes. Don't miss this fun event.
Hoop Jam
August each year
Hoop Jam is an event that takes over the entire shopping center! The Albany Boys & Girls Club of America sets the stage with multiple 3-on-3 basketball courts in the parking lot and NW Hickory Street out front. Literally thousands of kids, parents and relatives have fun for two days, playing and shopping. Stop by the shop between games and have a truffle, or pick out something fun for yourself.
Fall Fling Open House
Mid-September each year
The kids are back in school and the Oregon rain has come to keep the state so beautifully green. Great deals can usually be found on those last minute outdoor items from summer, but the real fun is in all the new gifts and home decor in the latest fall fashion and design. Warm soup, hot cider and hot party dips are some of the samplings of the food lines in the shop that we might share.
Happy Holidays Open House
Early November each year
The shop is decorated for the Holidays! From fall gift and home decor items to the best Thanksgiving table centerpiece you can find, this is the event to attend. You will find table linens, candles, serving platters and those wonderful fall flowers. Start shopping for Christmas gifts and be sure to try some of the great Holiday taste treats we will be offering.
